    Leeds Utd board criticising Brian Clough over his management style and telling him it wasn’t good enough and not what they were looking for so, they sacked him after 44 days in charge.

    Cloughie said it was the easiest £100,000 he’d ever earned in such a short space of time. We all know what happened next with Cloughie/Taylor with Derby and Forest.

    I think it was player power that got him the sack. Players that didn't want to play for him

    Grist, actually he started to split up the 'great' team they had and wanted to bring younger blood in and they all spat the dummy out and the boards stupidly backed the team.....oh dear.

    As for Cloughie, the greatest Manager never to manage the national team due to pompous FA chiefs at the time.
