Some planets must be in alignment somewhere up there, we are both in agreement.
Gareth is now saying that Dunk and Guehi may have to get used to playing with each other, I don't suppose he ever noticed that Everton had the 3rd best defensive record in the PL last season and had two English CBs in Tarkowski and Branthwaite, obviously well used to playing succesfully with each other and in front of the England keeper Jordan Pickford. Never mind, who would have thought that Maguire and Stones might get injured ? Certainly not Gareth, and I'm looking forward to seeing Dunk and Guehi together, it could be highly entertaining.![]()
The Netherlands had no probs with Iceland last night, tupping them 4-0 as we should have done.
One on target, one goal… not impressive play
It's Southgate s usual cautious approach, could cost us.
A totally underwhelming negative performance, we could so easily have drawn this. southgate is like VK, so predictable and inflexible.
Having to rely on a 20 year old to win a game of football is pretty grim.
I thought Guehi had a good game, Slab Head may not be missed, playing Trippier at left back is a disaster, it's like playing with ten men, as any fule kno, TAA is not the answer in midfield, absolutely clueless and a liability, if Gareth thinks he can unlock well organised international defences with a right-back attempting the occasional 50 yard Hollywood pass from midfield he's going down yet another blind alley. I feel sorry for Kane, he has just three players with the ability to set him up with chances and when they get crowded out, run out of ideas or just tire, as they inevitably will, he might as well go and sit in the stand. We have possibly the best striker in the game and Gareth starves him by playing seven defenders so restricting him to one or two chances per game, if he's lucky.
