I asked how that could be as i was on site at exactly 10 am, and the person at ticket office could provide no exlanation. I have had to settlle for standing even though all 6 of us are over 70. Anyone on here got explanation? I wiil be writing to ticket office manager as i cant see how they could sell out in 10 seconds. Hoping the venue experience will be better than the bookin experience

    I didn't go to either night, but looking at ticket numbers and photos, I don't think it is operating at full capacity yet (and you wouldn't expect it to, without test events). Maybe at half capacity.

    I wonder how many sell-out events we'll average over the course of a year. My guess is most competitive England games, plus some of the major club cup finals. Away teams playing at Forest too, but that's not exactly an on-screen event, so I'm not sure if we'd even be able to charge an entrance fee there.

    I’d be surprised if the club charge on a normal match day - in the same way it’s free to get into the Meadow Lane Sports Bar.

    Fair play to the club for getting the Nest open in time for the Euros, because big events like this don’t come along that often (lord knows what time the games will kick off at the 2026 World Cup in North America and Mexico).

    I can imagine Six Nations England games attracting a decent crowd (shame that the next rugby World Cup is three years away). And the sound system is so impressive, you could even stream something like the BBC’s coverage of Glastonbury there. I hope it becomes a gold mine for the club, however they programme it.

    I was at a table last night, but I’d be interested to know how the experience is for those standing further from the screen.

    I’m sure many will have seen this tweet from a Notts fan this morning;

    ‘ Notts have spent probably 90% of my life lurching from one financial crisis to another and without a penny spare. The idea that we're now buying a factory next door and converting it into this is so surreal to me.’

    Pretty much how I felt after seeing the videos from last night. Hopefully we get things right on the pitch but it’s worth remembering the unlikelihood of any previous owners embarking on a project like this.

    The other day I also heard a couple of lads in the gym discussing padelball , the lack of courts around here (Lincoln) and having to travel down to Notts to play. So you tend to think they were spot on about building those as well.

    Trying to buy tickets for the Denmark game but it just doesn't work.

    First tried to buy two and get an error of

    There are errors on the page
    Unfortunately, the items you have selected do not have a common delivery method assigned, please purchase them separately.

    So thought I'd switch to getting the one at a time, still the same error. Tried different browsers, clearing cache and all that, still does not work.

    The screen is so big you get a good view, reminded me though of why I would not want to go back to standing at matches.
    Why would you throw beer around at six quid a pint 🤔

    Have you been to this type of venue for an England game before? Check out some videos online before you go as I wouldn't want it to come as too much of a shock.
