Seeing as last nights results mean we have already qualified will he be tempted to tinker with the line up?
Can't see him running the risk of finishing 2nd though and playing Germany in the last 16

We are not playing well just now but I don’t think Germany are a team to fear.

I'd like to see a few changes tonight but I think he'll only make one, bringing Gallagher in for Alexander-Arnold.

Rest Kane & give somebody that can run about a bit a chance the forward lines too slow.

86 world cup Lineker came in to change it. Palmer looks the only forward we've got who could do the same. Somehow get him up front with Kane.

Lineker started every game in 86. I agree that Palmer should have featured at some point by now though, if only from the bench.

Lineker might have scored the goals but it was Beardsley who came in and improved us.

That is a very funny comment, home nation with the history they have, a great young coach and they play with style and pace, England are not in the same league as Germany on current performances. If we come 3rd it is likely to be Portugal, yet again we are not ready to play these types of teams unless we really improve throughout the team.

Well we topped the group and made it through to the last 16. That was the aim but bloody hell we laboured and toiled and made it much harder than we would have liked.
A very talented bunch of individuals just being negative, slow and boring and not playing as a team.
So by winning the group we have avoided the side of the draw that now contains Germany, France, Spain and Portugal.
It's opened up nicely but can we take advantage? Massive improvement needed

This tournament just keeps on giving to England.
Slovakia are no mugs but to now be playing them rather than Netherlands in the last 16 is a huge gift.
We should go deep into this tournament but whoever emerges in the final out of the other half of the draw will win it in my opinion.
