Totally agree Regis! Even Albania were a joy to watch with their exciting football and they went for it!

I have tried to look at the situation as rationally as I can but have come to the conclusion that if you persevere with the same personnel and expect a different outcome you will not achieve your objective. England were extremely poor in the first two games yet only one change was made, therefore, same outcome. Southgate is too loyal to Kane who has been totally inept in all three games. Gordon and Palmer look to be up for it so give them a chance. We can’t just carry on with the same old, same old and hope to improve.

When we won the world cup, one of our strengths was a well balanced team with the emphasis on team! The best striker of the times by a long way was Jimmy Greaves but he didn't fit into the best team. Foden does not fit into this team.
Saka or Gordon can play on the left, which will free up space for Palmer on the right. Mainoo has to play. Unfortunately, I have little faith that Southgate will make the required changes.

Jimmy Greaves started the first three games of the '66 World Cup. It's always been my understanding that he was our first choice centre forward going into the tournament and Hurst only got a sniff because of an injury to Greaves. It was before my time though so I could be mistaken, it's been known to happen 😃.
