Both had something to say on decency and respect etc but only one of them demonstrated it, and that wasn't Sunak. Starmer, generally, kept schtum when Rishi was speaking. Rishi, on the other hand, blathered on and on when Sir K was talking.

Sunak seems to love the word "surrender" and Starmer informed the world that "his Dad was a toolmaker".

Sunak also came over as somewhat of a bully, Starmer said, several times, that it's time politicians went back to service. Serving the populace.

Sunak couldn't counter that only a few hundred immigrants would be sent to Rwanda, at great cost, under the current deal.

Starmer intends to beat the trafficking gangs by international cooperation, something he did with terrorists. To me a better option than Sunak's Rwanda non-solution that is very costly when it's only going to solve maybe 400 cases out of the 50,000 illegal immigrants since Sunak took office.

Neither will be getting my vote for the reasons outlined in a previous post on this forum.

I'm still looking forward to several visits to the UK each year in the future but, as I've said before, I won't be coming back to live.
Both were awful and pathetic. As the audience huy said, "are you two really the best we've got?"

This is as bad as the USA. Folks voting for the walking corpse that is Biden, rather than Trump. Though they are regretting that now.
Think you are being way to kind to Starmer. He was a scared rabbit in headlights and let a weasel man who hold no cards bully him into submission.
God help us when he's got to negotiate with the EU/ Chinese/Yanks etc.

Never mind, the ginger growler has said, EVERY area is getting its load of immigrants now. So even sleepy rural Derbyshire, can join the party.

I would agree and REFORM are appalled.

However, be careful with this one. If this turns out to be true, then the lid on UK media is about to be blown.

    RIP the USA.

Despite CNN 's best efforts to undo Trump( no audience/ mike shut off/ loaded questions), they forgot the one issue that could destroy their plans. The simple fact that Joe Biden is losing his marbles and comes across as a gibbering idiot.

It was painful to watch and I dare say, elderly abuse.
The after speech greets, were also laughable as the Democrats applauded him and themselves in an attempt to upgrade that performance.

He will get the chop, asap. No doubt about that. They have to move fast, as they handed Trump that on a plate.
Kamala Harris isn't up to the job either. She's only there as a box ticking stooge and is quite frankly, awful.

Just like here, it's the same story, "are you two the best we have"?

Not a chance, no front line experiance. In fact in 2021 she was advertising her retirement.
    Be a box ticking appointment.

The plot thickens then, with Reformgate channel 4

This is going to be fun, finding out who exactly put him up to this and how deep channel 4 was involved.
It seems Farage really does scare the establishment and their comfortable life.
