    Germany v Denmark

Movement, pace, skill, end to end second half.

Oh how we’ll miss this tomorrow night.

A pleasure to watch is this game.

Well played the FA in missing out on Musiala and letting him become German!

    Chinless w anchors.

I still maintain that penaltsuch as the one Germany have just scored should not be allowed, he actually stopped in his run up; it’s just not football!

VAR ruined it. Really feel for Denmark.

Well, Germany had two goals disallowed through VAR, where the first one was really soft. Germany were the better team.

If it involves the Germans…. Don’t mention the VAR……they get very touchy about it Thomas!😏

Germany deserved it. The rules have evolved in the game so it was a penalty. Harsh but it was a penalty.
The Denmark disallowed goal was clearly offside by a country heel. Players need to remember the rules. Well done Germany.
I am only watching a few games , now that it is at the knock out stages. Glad the Danes are out. They are as boring as watching England.

The trouble with offside with VAR is the clinical decision. No player plays trying to be offside by a cm. If it’s obvious everybody in the stadium can’t argue but by a cm? It’s become ridiculous. No point celebrating a goal anymore. Might as well just pick up a newspaper for 2 minutes by which time the excitements gone anyway.
Offside was introduced to stop goal hanging not to get your micrometer out. I would prefer a “sufficiently offside” looking for an obvious advantage as opposed to this clinical cm c r a p.

Good job they've got the metric system in Europe rather than the imperial when you think about it. Give these VAR officials an inch and they'd take a mile.
