    Slovenia

Brilliant. Respect. Portugal just can’t get through them.

The problem with Portugal is that it’s all about Ronaldo. It’s Portugal v. Slovenia not Ronaldo v. Slovenia. Every free kick was taken by him with the same result, zilch! He even missed a penalty. They need to realise that there are ten others beside him.

I thought he was disrespectful to his team throughout. It is all about him. This game showed though that we should be respectful of every team in this competition. Slovenia we’re incredible defensively as we found out over the 90. Portugal over 120 couldn’t break them down. In many ways it’s easier playing so called top teams than these teams who just won’t let you play your game. They stifle the life out of you.

You have to feel sorry for him, bursting into tears when missing his penalty

I’ve hated Ronaldo since he cheated to get Rooney sent off in the Euros in 2004 and then winked at his teammates! 😤

Also, I find his Adam’s Apple most off-putting and can’t even stomach looking at him up close.

I have many random dislikes in life!

    Very well put mate.

Sane with De Bruyne who referred to a journalist as “stupid” yesterday when the question about their “Golden Generation” was raised.

Too many of these players are stuck on a pedestal as fairly young children and never have to live in the real world.

Last night I had a recurring dream about a job I did from 1984 until 1991.

It was a high pressure job as a rep in the frozen food industry and although I was top rep for 4 out of my 5 full years for them my bosses were hard b a s t a r d s and constantly on my case.

Every time I have the dream I get sacked, it’s becoming a joke now!

You’d get bawled out for the simplest of errors and you’d take it on the chin.

This lot are not used to that and think they’re above answering simple questions.

You are right. I saw a video of the England players before the latest match coming down a flight of stairs in their hotel lobby. Lots of kids were behind a barrier in the lobby wanting to see their heroes. No players gave eye contact or even stopped to chat apart from one - Jude!

What a decent guy and well done to his parents. Again I blame Southgate for this! Alex Ferguson would have made the players stop for a couple of selfies/autographs - it takes seconds!

    W ankers!

But what a brilliant response regarding de Bryune from the journalist on ”X”, something along the lines with:

”Typical footballer who only wants questions about how good they are” Spoilt brat!”

I’m concerned that Jude is starting to get a bit too c o c k y though, he was openly making a w a n k I n g gesture to the opposition bench the other night despite his lies today to try to get out of it.

    He may well get banned.

This sort of nonsense does my head in.
