The way our board and owners have handled the whole DOF business has been very classy. Mitchell’s appointment completely under the radar and Ashworth’s leaving (the timing and quite probably the fee) controlled by us.
It’s now clear that we were waiting for 30th June to get shot of the weasel and announce Mitchell rather than Mufc holding out to try to hurt us financially in the face of PSR.
Being a bit vindictive (something our board is not) I’m delighted we got a man ManU wanted - it’s the first time I remember getting one over on them.

Can’t wait to see what Mitchell does at the club.
