That’s what should be asked of Southgate,he’s bang the drum about how hard theses games are so why take a player that’s not fit.Its because he’s arrogant & pig headed.

Thing is the FA love a YES man. Doesn't rock the boat, doesn't slag those off at the top in charge, heaven made for the FA.

How about we shift the focus off Southgate and drum up support to out the top brass at the FA?

I think that’s a bit too much for play safe Southgate.

I think Trippier has been worse. He's been atrocious. He's offered nothing on the left and has been really sloppy in possession. I'm pretty sure it was another poor pass from him that put Guehi in trouble leading to him being booked and subsequently suspended.

I'd rather see Trent Alexander or even Saka play LWB, especially if we're going to a back 3.

Yes pal I have to agree but the way the Swiss play off the wings, maybe four at the back is more safety in numbers for us?

Dare we play the old fashioned 4-4-2 that won us the World Cup?

To be honest we have got the players to play Klopp favourite 4-3-3 but we will never ever see that with Southgate.

Ideally I wouldn't want Saka playing there but at least he'd give us some width on that left hand side.

Has Shaw had a setback of some kind? I'm sure Gareth said they were hoping he'd get some minutes in either the 2nd or 3rd group game.

Heliospan, to be fair pal Trippier he is right footed. Totally unfair of Southgate to use him in that way. Yes, it was his poor pass back that put Guehi in trouble but, in all fairness it's been a square peg in a round hole for Trippier and there's only one person to blame for that.
