    Emma R Crashes Out

So she’s out of Wimbledon so back to modelling and endorsing brands.

She dropped out of the mixed doubles with Jock Andy. Emma was composing about a sore wrist!

It’s a tough game. I got more injuries playing tennis than I ever did playing football. Nasty ones too, torn calf, ruptured Achilles, ripped out a finger nail serving, turned my cartilage inside out (needed an op) etc.

She’s a class player, easily top ten on talent and movement.

Less than year ago she was having major surgery on both wrists as well as her ankle.

She’s worked really hard on her fitness but is only around 11 matches back into her comeback.

She’s already won a major, something 95% or more of players never do, people need to give her a break.

Murray was 26 before he won at Wimbledon, her situation needs some perspective.

Given the right fitness regime and a bit of luck she’s well capable of winning Wimbledon and a few other majors.

As for pulling out of mixed doubles with Murray, do f u c k I n g what!?

Does anyone seriously think that he wouldn’t have done the same in reversed circumstances?

He had his goodbye the other night with his brother….how many goodbye’s does a man need?

Going out on court in your final match with your brother sounds like the best of endings to me.

Perhaps a tad more focus on tennis rather than making money at every opportunity! She’s good but question her mental strength! Some who carry injuries always carry injuries ie Dike.

    She’s plenty focused on tennis.

There’s nothing she can do about her gene pool, she’s been through a lot just to come back from what’s she’s had done.

Yeah but if she looked like a younger version of Diane Abbott should wouldn’t get all these brands swarming around her. Wearing a branded England top FFS!

That pretty Russian kounakova used to be the same and where did she end up,

I do hope she will do well though but honestly reminds me of Laura Robson - always something wrong with her! I hope I’m wrong but don’t think I will be!

Correct but Coco is miles better than Emma and a year younger plus appeared at Wimbledon at 15. The point is focus on tennis and money making can happen later. Coco is meant to be really mega focused on her tennis but hey - pretty faces get you places ie England tops etc. Who was the brand?

Gauff got her a r s e handed to her today.

Women’s tennis is extremely tough, Iga Swietek the world number one got dumped on Saturday.

You’re always on about players and managers “maximising” their earning potential and good luck to them.

Emma doesn’t come from a mega wealthy family, she’s doing the right thing and maximising her earnings whilst she can.

She may well already feel that her body can’t handle the rigours of a long career and that like Laura Robson she could be fine by the time she’s 25.

She’s making a good business decision so best of luck to her.

She’s also already ensured that she has a high profile media career ready for when she is finished.

I’d rather look at her than that old bint Sue Barker or that Claire Balding bloke!

Woman’s tennis though compared with the mens is pants. With the cost of Wimbledon tickets you would hope to see end to end five set matches. Two sets for the girls and can be over in less than an hour and they want equal pay FFS!

Don’t look at Emma as she’s younger than my daughter - you dirty old dog! Virginia Wade should be more your cuppa 🤣
