Did you read and properly understand my post? Or did you just pick out the bit you wanted then search the Earth to find an exception that you could try to be a smart erse with? Are you related to Islay?

To reiterate for the sake of the illiterate 'I (that's me) have a wallet full of cards from banks, clubs and other organisations and have never been asked to pay for any of them'.

I live in Dundee so why would I need an Oyster Card? When I visit London I use my bank card to swipe onto and off of the transport system and the fare is then deducted automatically - my bank gave me that card free.

I gave you all the info you need - I live in Dundee, why would I need a £7 Oyster Card given that I can pay direct via a free bank card?
