    What are the odds

Biden will not be the Democrats candidate for President in November? Interesting article by Andrew Neil, making the point that the current Democratic White House has been lying to the public about the mental capacity of Sleepy Joe. He suggests it's a bigger cover up than Watergate, but because MSM in the States is very pro Democrats they have gone along with the lies.

Surely he's not their best candidate? Or can they not get rid of him as candidate because he's president? It's like when the left wanted rid of Boris so they put Corbyn & Abbot up.

The Democratic Party has a problem if Sleepy Joe Biden is not capable of being their candidate for President in November as they have no suitable candidate lined up.
Camila Harris does not appear to have been much use as Vice President and no one else has been mentioned as a suitable Democratic Party candidate for President.

They could put Whoopi Goldberg up but it doesn't matter, Trump is a shoe in.

Attempt to assassinate Trump will strengthen his candidacy. Democrats seem to be in total disarray and do not seem to me to be able to find a way forward without Biden as their candidate.
I had not realised the extent of the trouble they are in. Apparently if they try to replace Biden with anyone other than Camila Harris they will provoke a massive internal battle.

Speculation that Obama and Cooney want Biden to step down voluntarily hasn't helped because they have not said who should be the candidate in his place.

Trump is an extremely lucky man this morning. A better aim and he would have been dead. I suspect that this incident will improve his chances. Biden is finished. The Californina governor is democrat. Not sure how good he is but he must be in the running, if he wants to be. I have been in the US many times. Never ever wanted to live permanently there though. Dangerous place. There are plenty lovely folk, but so many whackos. With guns.

Never been to the USA. It does seem like it is very different from here. Are guns obviously part of their everyday life, or is it really the exception?

When I was in Florida I had a few walks around Walmart where you could buy guns off the shelf.

Been to 26 of the states and the only every day gun state was Texas, with their open carry laws.

Most people have only ever fired a gun at the range which can be good fun actually.

At least it's not just the criminals that can defend themselves .

Defending yourself by carrying a knife seems to be our equivalent for some.
