My God! This shows what nasty people you are. Who has Trump killed? Look at the dubious wars other Presidents have started. Which war did Trump ever start?

The war against decency, honesty and morality. Trump is a vile human being.

You are welcome to prove me wrong by listing his qualities.

Do you really believe that to get a presidential nomination you have to be a fine, upstanding citizen of the USA?

If you do, can you name me one politician that has had that nomination and I'll find some scandal for them.

There was massive scandal surrounding Joe and Hunter Biden before the 2020 election, but it got hushed up only to come out about 12 months ago. In respect to Joe Biden's mental decline, people conveniently forget to remember that in 2016, he had been the VP for two terms under Barack Obama and the Democrat Party didn't think he was fit to get the nomination then. Why is it such a shock now?

I think you'll find that they are people who DON'T live in the USA and are exceedingly patronising. They can't believe how thick you'd have to be to vote for Trump and you must definitely be a card-carrying white supremacist.

In the real world though, he attracts votes from all parts of the political spectrum and if those who slag him off actually thought themselves for one moment they'd realise that the huge democracy of the USA will vote him in again.

I'd say to anyone who berates Trump, think what you have achieved in life - and only then do you still believe that you are better than Trump?

People would rejoice like they did in places like Iran when the twin towers fell.
Great point. What kind of people are out there that would joke about what happened at the weekend? However, they probably went out celebrating when Thatcher died too.

Just to add another point - what those who would like to see Trump killed or can't believe that he'd get voted in again are advocating is an end to democracy in the USA and replace it with their own idea of democracy.

Seriously, I can't believe that people who believe that can leave their house without the support of a responsible adult.

I prefer Seb Gorka's arguments. That's not why I'd be very upset if Trump had been assassinated. The demonisation of Trump has been vicious politicking picked up and promoted by the left wing mainstream media.

Basically, Lennon had been hated by the Christian right since the "bigger than Jesus" debacle in 1966 and then became a thorn in the side of the Nixon admin in 1972 when Lennon fell in with the far left and intended to play at a series of anti-Nixon rallies. There are still classified documents on Lennon held to this day from the time they were spying on him.

Mark David Chapman was being groomed for something like this since the early 1970s when he fell into the orbit of pastor Charles McGowan who had links to intelligence and knew Nixon, so it was those two elements coming together who had a serious grudge, with the potential for Lennon to become problematic for the incoming Reagan admin and operations in Central America.

The lawyer who was initially representing Chapman lasted only a few days due to death threats and was replaced by somebody who worked in the same building as the CIA's law firm and he granted full access MK Ultra, one of whom was on US TV a year before the murder boasting he could convince somebody to carry out an assignation in the space of 6 months. Chapman had no idea why he'd done it when interviewed on the night, he said he had nothing against Lennon or The Beatles but just felt a compulsion to do it. Two fans who'd had lunch with Chapman earlier that day said he knew next to nothing about The Beatles and it was they who suggested he buy Lennon's album and get it signed (which he did and was photographed doing). The notion that he'd done it for Lennon's fame came later when the "Catcher in the Rye" link became problematic for intelligence when that book was also linked with the Reagan assassination attempt. In 1981 it changed from the book to demons making him doing it, the fame angle came in later years and has since stuck ,but if he'd done it for the fame he would have opted to go for the trial to get himself on TV.

Chapman's wife knew full well of the plot, has admitted as much and is still closely involved with McGowan to this day. In a press conference two days after the murder she said on camera "I'm sorry that John Lennon HAD TO DIE." which is very telling I think. It's incredible she's never faced any heat for being an accomplice. She drove her husband to the airport having arranged his flight knowing full well he'd been to NYC the previous month with the intention of killing Lennon and she rang the police station to speak to MDC before his name had been made public.
Fascinating stuff! Thank you for writing that up. Any recommended readings in the subject?

You need to read posts more closely Laxton came to close to advocating that Trump should be killed but he didn't he just said he was sad the bullet missed. Me and others have said they have little sympathy if he got shot based on the fact he is a deplorable individual who has caused deep distress and harm to others. There is a HUGE difference. I feel very very sorry for the unsuspecting individuals and their families in attendance who did lose their lives who got injured who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
