    Yokuslu.

I realise that his contract expires at the end of the coming season but to my mind it would be better to have him for one more season, even if he leaves for free at the end of it. He may just be the difference between us gaining promotion or not. I certainly wouldn’t entertain selling him to rivals such as Hull City. If we have to sell, then sell him to a foreign club, but as far as I’m concerned, I would keep him.

I share that view Leics buddy.
Having said that, I’ve not studied the recent new intake nor the alleged impending prospects ! Notwithstanding, ‘the devil you know’ seems relevant.
I understand that we are prepared to reduce the apparent £5m sale price ?

I certainly wouldn’t lower the asking price. If we have to sell, I would prefer it if we let Swift leave. That’s no reflection on Swift, I just believe that Yokuslu is more important to us.

Totally agree with you!!! Why not get rid of Swift/Wallace or Asante first or send them out on loan.

Promotion? Not in a million with no Mikey - no striker and Southgate tactics!

We need to stop being scared of letting older players go, especially if we can get £5m for them.

We need to start taking more chances like we have with Heggum and the midfield lad for relative peanuts.

Bartley on a good wage to play half a season if we are lucky? He’s half your age now FFS 😂

I think anything £1m+ and we should sell.

He's a high earner and a great player, but we will get one more season maximum out of him. And he's 31 next season, his best days are behind him.

That £1m or more that we receive needs to reinvested in a younger version of Yokuslu who can give us his best years. Its all about recruitment, but I would sell.

You miss my point, nobody was offering us £5m for Bartley, he was out of contract anyway.

If someone offered us £3m for him now I’d snap their hand off.

On a vastly reduced contract, he’s still a decent player for the position we find ourselves in.

Would I prefer an academy player to come through and fill his spot, yes of course I would.

We won't be getting £5m for Yokuslu (I really hope we do btw).

The figure I've seen quoted is around 2m euros. I still think that would represent good value.

And I think it was a no brainer to sign Bartley up for another season. He is our best centre back.

Well if we could only scrape 2m euros for him imagine what we would get for:

    Grant
    Swift
    Wallace
    Townsend

I would take 2 million for all four of them and to get off the payroll!
