That the new lads have slotted in well, that we want to finish as high as we possibly can, If not top two, the play offs. Good core of lads with Prem experience, How he was originally a striker and found his place at right back. How Corberan wants both full backs to be at the back in midfield and up front. His love for motor racing, etc etc

Always enjoy listening to AJ who is one of the games "characters". Darnell comes across well but, tbh, we don't actually learn very much new from the interview-apart from his interest in F1!

They talk about the changes in football and how, as a Full Back, his role has become more multi-positional over recent years, operating in midfield and being used in an attacking (he started off as a striker) as well as defensive role.

Furlong reiterates the tightness of the squad and it's team spirit but also mentions the (rather obvious) need to add new players with experience to it.

AJ points out that he feels that Darnell has improved his defensive capabilities over last season and whilst I still feel he is better going forward, I tend to agree with him. He isn't the greatest defender but then being asked to play further up the pitch as well probably doesn't help. Over all, I may not be singing his praises quite as much as Boingy 😁 but I'm more than happy to keep him as I think he did well for us last season and will continue to do so.

He did. I’m sure we’ll score more goals off that throw this season as well.
