Thread: Dan Ashworth dig

    Dan Ashworth dig

He's just done an interview where he came out with a quote...

"A vision without a plan is just a dream and a plan without vision is boring"..

Man U fans have jumped all over this that it is about us..

I'm not sure who it's aimed at but what's with Man U fans obsession with us.. why have they now created a rivalry after 20 years of saying we were irrelevant.. its only happened after they signed Ashworth..

    My response

“When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.”

    There’s a quote..

“Once a traitor, always a traitor. Trust is never fully regained”

Ashworth is never going to be fully trusted again, wherever he goes, whoever he works for.

He can make his little jibes if wants, I think he knows this and will have to live with it.

Here's another one: it doesn’t matter what you say, it’s what you do that counts. Ashworth is only committed to a plan for his own progress (not the club’s) and money. He’s made that crystal clear.
As for ManU fans, they spend so much time these days saying we’re not their rivals that they clearly think we are. They’re fixated on past glories but the last 2 premier league final position tables show what’s what.
As for Ashworth’s quote, as DOF, the plan needs to come from him surely? Therefore, I don’t see any dig at NUFC at all in what he said.

Here's something else. Ashworth is simply a money grabbing snake and will **** on anyone or anything to better himself.
His major problem now is, if he doesn't see a massive upturn in Manchester United's fortunes, he will incur the wrath of the entitled fans.

The problem is, there's very little integrity in football.

Man U were looking to re-integrate Greenwood into their squad before the backlash made them change their minds; the mackems continued to play paedo Johnson when they knew what he was accused of.

And aye, I know other clubs' fans would level the same accusation at us.

The bottom line is about money, everything else is secondary to that so Man u will only be thinking they've got their man.
