Again Swift and Wallace are the big earners and nobody else wanted them apart from us due to the highest salaries in the championship. Get them off the pay role even with a loan as both add not a lot in my book. Swift is fabulous every fourth game and Wallace up front is an absolute joke and everyone knows it.

Pragmatic businessman? Well let’s judge him when we kick off and if we are weaker then don’t expect roses! Come on Patel didn’t ride in on a white horse - he saw an opportunity and a price for a club which was a knock down bargain!

Our worst player is Townsend at 31. Any takers for this pile of s hit? Also a lesser quality player in league 1 on a lesser salary should take his place!

Let’s hope Bartley at 33 who is also on an excellent wage is on a contract with payment structured towards games played as whilst decent - he only plays half a season!
You’ve no idea what Bartley is on, what is this “excellent wage” you speak of?

He might be down from £33k a week to £10k a week now, none of us know.

Personally I’d rather we’d moved on from him but if he’s on a third of his previous wage he might be decent value.

If Okay wanted to drop to £10k a week and sign a three year deal I’d still question if it was the right move for us but let’s face it, he wouldn’t as he’s still under a £29k a week contract and I’d be the same as him if I was him.

Anyone who expected us to be better and stronger than last season is dreaming.

The difference between Swift and Wallace and Yokuslu is that nobody wants the first two, if they did, I expect we’d snatch the buyer’s hand off.

You can only sell if you have a buyer so how do you suggest we rid ourselves of these irritants you keep bringing up?

We have to honour contracts we’ve handed out.

As previously mentioned I will judge Patel at kick off. Anyone who thinks he jumped on a white horse to save us is deluded. He bought the club for a bargain knock down price and certainly not for the history or the love.

Can super Jed play at right back?

Don’t get the repeated Jed Wallace hate. Decent player, captain, works hardest on the pitch and hasn’t complained being played out of position.

You can have a go about his wages but that’s par for the course with free transfers.

I like Swift. He was brilliant last season until his injury and I am hoping he regains that form this season. Wallace's best position is wide right, putting great crosses into the box but now we have Fellows, who is an even better option out wide. Nonetheless, Wallace is a good option to share some of the load with Fellows. We need someone in the box to convert chances!

I agree, not much a player can do if a manager plays him out of position.

We’d moan if we saw diva like behaviour like we saw with Bellingham!

Certainly don’t hate him as he’s got a great attitude. Just don’t rate him - he has little pace - can’t beat a man easily and his crosses usually go right over the box. Not his fault he’s played out of position and that’s Carlos who is just trying to accommodate him. Swift though before his injury was great but afterwards went missing far too much.
