But then Thicky seems to think Farage (who has never accomplished much on his own account) is laudable, yet refers to Harris as that "African woman", when in fact she is of Indian and Caribbean heritage!
I mean we know Farage is a racist, we know he tells lies and falsehoods and now he has proven what we already knew.
Still I guess if your a racist, misogynist and a believer in conspiracy theories, a racist egotistical liar is the kind of person one would follow.
The clarity of your arguments can usually be judged on the Swale scale, viz the clearer your point the more insulting he gets. He hasn’t really done so on this one, which suggests your line of reasoning is just too desperate to bother about. Abbott may be a thick racist but Harris is in my observation pretty well switched on and hasn’t demonstrated any of Abbots clumsy racial slurs, if I was a democrat I’d think I’d struck lucky to be honest. Markle’s race card tactics are well documented but not relevant here so I’m not sure why she came up. I’ll stick by your right to make a point but you’ve taken a bit of a **** with your pants on here
I think you’re right, AF. Caught a little of Harris on TV last night and I thought she looked and sounded very impressive.
Of course I’m biased, as - given the chance - I’d vote for Biden’s corpse rather than Trump, but trying to be as objective as possible, I suspect the Republicans will be worried by the emergence of such a bright, articulate and energetic candidate.
It’s a relief tbh. As for her performance as VP…does anyone really remember them? Can probably recall the names of a number of Vice Presidents over the last fifty odd years but, a bit like Deputy PMs, they’re rarely given a chance to shine or for us to judge them.
P.S. Things are certainly moving quickly in this election. Only just over a week ago the ‘assassination attempt’ seemed to have Trump nailed on as the President Elect, but now with the (eventually) dignified departure of Biden and his likely replacement by someone who has immediately made Trump look like the rambling old guy with an age related condition, it’s ’game on’ again. Doubtless there’ll be many more twists and turns over the next four months.

Indeed, the 'Pubs put their money on labelling Biden as "the old man". Now who's the "old man".
"Of course I’m biased, as - given the chance - I’d vote for Biden’s corpse rather than Trump, "
You don't even need to be biased to make that choice !! But fair enough, you admitted it ☺️
I tend not to bother to read or if inadvertently i do read them, not bother to respond - Thicky merely repeats the crap that right wing commentators spout on the internet, and the media, no original thought and certainly none worth commenting on.
Abbot a thick racist? She is definitely not thick and certainly not a racist, she may lack finesse and the ability to think on her feet, she can certainly be criticised for wearing the "victim" card too often, though perhaps neither you or I or indeed the media people who spout these insults, do not have the lived experience that she does that might make her over react.
As for Meghan Markle, beyond her being reasonably typical of a Californian American from the acting community, (that is up her own fundament) her description of the Royal family seemed accurate to me and in accordance with both how they behave within that family, their treatment of Margaret and Diana being just two examples and of my albeit limited interaction with various Royals and other members of the so called Aristocracy. Their idea of moving with the times, means they are somewhere near to living in the 1980's!
Most of us only know the woman from what we hear reported, I'd venture most of that is biased and inaccurate, but she is hardly relevant to our lives in any case.
