Here's a possible new name to some of you, it was for me. Pip Blom. An Indie band from Amsterdam.

Of late, my lad has been their sound man of choice at gigs in the Netherlands and Belgium. He would have done their recent UK tour as well but he already had bookings confirmed with bands and clubs. They've also done USA and Canadian tours and if they repeat those he'll make sure he's on board.

Feel free to check them out online

I did...a bit too bland poppy for me but that's just me. The sound engineering was excellent though!

    Creep!!

Blimey GP. Just driven to Newhaven for a ferry in the morning. You told me the ‘sarf’ was nice. Six degrees colder and how do you cope with the M25 in Surrey? Levelling up? We’re better off already.

I blame it all on the phony asylum seekers ☺️all hanging out dahn sarf. It's bloody miserable today though. How to cope with M25: don't drive, the trains don't use it.

Apart from the one at Stansted Airport last month I can’t remember the last time I travelled by proper train. May have been 2012 to see England beat the All Blacks at Twickenham.
Can understand why you ride a motor bike round the M25…and on today’s evidence, can also understand how you got knocked off! Braver man than me.

Excellent night at Trentham Gardens last night. Deacon Blue were the main attraction preceded by Hue and Cry (each to their own but not for me) and the Lightning Seeds.
Both the Lightning Seeds and Deacon Blue were in fine form, virtually faultless during an evening of timeless quality…despite the first night of rain I’ve experienced in three weeks.

A day at the Test match next week…watch out for more rain in the Old Trafford area of Manchester next Thursday.

That package looked good on paper, glad you enjoyed it although surprised about Hue And Cry I’ve seen them a lot over the years and loved them

Probably just me. Much more of a guitar band man. They seemed like a pleasant enough pair…just not my thing.
Trentham Gardens seems an excellent and very well organised venue for that kind of 5-10k ‘summer’ outdoor event.

This amused me so I thought I'd post it. Unfortunately the FB url doesn't appear to work in the [IMG] mode on here so you'll have to click on the link, which does work.
