    Blues

Did we get the wrong owner in Shilling Patel? I can see Blues easily winning league 1 and doing an Ipswich. Good luck to them.

Reports suggest Birmingham are ready to offer a package worth up to £6M to bring Jay Stansfield back to St. Andrews🔵⚪️

The Blues have already spent OVER £10M in League One🤑🤯

Sound like super owners Al. They certainly know how to pick their managers…

Don’t like Rooney but he may do a good job at Plymouth. Good they are investing in the playing squad and a new stadium.

As mentioned before - I won’t judge Patel until the start of the season. We will see as plenty of time yet for outgoings/incomings.

I can’t believe how many of our fans still don’t understand FFP Dave.

Given their ages and knowledge of football it’s quite staggering.

    We can’t just f u c k i n g spend even if we wanted to FFS.

    Let’s spend £20m and get a 12 point deduction…..sounds like a great plan!😩🙄

Me neither, you do not have to have a knowledge of it, perhaps do a little research, but just an understanding that you cannot spend, spend, spend without serious consequences. It really is that simple.

We’ve got Lai to thank for not being able to spend, not Patel to blame.

I think most of us understand that we can’t spend millions on players, that’s obvious. However, let’s take the case of Yokuslu. If we sell him now, what will we get for him? I would think a couple of million at most, plus him coming off the wage bill. If we keep him to the end of his contract it would mean that we wouldn’t have to replace him this season. I realise that we are not in a brilliant financial position but with sensible budgeting on our part, we could achieve this. Of course some would say that for footballing reasons we should let him go and that’s a different matter, I’m just using him as a financial example.

I agree, he’s too important to lose when we won’t replace him for the money we get.
