Strangest thing happened to me at the weekend..me, my partner and another couple went to Liverpool at the weekend, Friday to Sunday, came back Monday..on the Sunday, we decided to go to Southport for the day, only 40 minutes away..I had only been there once before with two friends in around 74/ 75 to watch the millers as we had already been promoted but lost on the day..I think it was 3- 1 to Southport..my partner and the other couple had never been..we had a stroll for an hour or so, had a pint in a pub, and had some fish and chips in a restaurant..we took photos exactly where today's vigil is being held and sat on the benches a while and we were all saying what a wonderful place this would be to live ..we got home Monday and found this had happened..

Yes, chilling really but check the local news, there are knifings, assaults and murders regularly happening in the Rotherham area. Admittedly not on the scale of the Southport tragedy but happening nevertheless.

The parents of those students in Nottingham were betrayed.

Three little girls have had their lives taken away in a flash. Authorities have the attacker in custody. That's beyond doubt. The families of the victims and the poor children and adults still in hospital should be given as much support as possible.

Whoever that attacker is, should be executed as soon as the investigation is finished. I don't care what colour he is, I don't care where his parents are from, I certainly don't care what age he is, I don't care if the law says he should have anonyminity. I don't care if he has mental heath issues or if a lawyer should defend him. I'm not even interested if he was off his tits on something.

If that makes me no better than him, do you know what. That's fine .....

Totally 100% agree he should pay with his life regardless , he is definitely the one responsible, so yes he should be executed lawfully not by a member of the public....I think it is time to re-introduce the death penalty for such clear guilty situations... what is the point of keeping low life scum like him alive....there is no rehabilitating trash like him ! But you know what, he will serve time and in around 10 years he will be released under a new name and identity like some others have been in the past ....to go on and live his life !
