It's the sizings that are horrendous though. 39-41.5 for a large. That's ridiculous as is the length and cut of the shirt which tapers in at the hem.

Looks like a tailored fit which really didn't compliment the gentleman I saw wearing one the other day. Looked more like a mini dress than a football top.

There's going to be some f uc k ing sights out and about this coming season. Rest assured I won't be rushing to empty my wallet.
Back in my menswear days sizing went like this,

    36 inch - Small

    38 inch - Medium

    40 inch - Large

    42 inch - X Large

    44 inch - XX Large

    46 inch - XXX Large

It’s the advent of the fat b a s tard over the past 30 odd years that has required changes to be made to make everyone feel better about themselves.

You’re dead right. Sizings are completely different now. I tried a pair of jeans on the other day, size 32” waist. They just about fitted, haven’t been 32” waist since my early twenties.

That's weird. I remember buying a multi pack of t-shirts circa 93/94 when I was in the army and the XL was 46 inches. It was the first time I'd ever bought XL which is why it sticks in the memory.

For the avoidance of doubt I was built like a brick s hit house and wore 34 inch jeans with a belt. So definitely not a fat b@st@rd. Oh the memories 😊.
