gru, maybe so pal but just think back on the list of not fully committed crap that Taylor brought in and what they returned playing wise for the mega thousands they earned, while being on our books. IF Wood had stayed, he'd have definitely made more appearances than any player Taylor brought in for our back line......oh, hold that thought though because Wood wouldn't have got a game while Taylor was still in charge.

Wood was a commanding centre half Warney didn't get a like for like not injured more than he was fit to replace him neither did 2 managers since Taylor Richardson.

Just been down to the club shop to get my tickets for Richard Wood's testimonial and the Sheff Utd game. The chap in front of me had actually turned up at the club shop because the on line system had rejected his request several times!

Tickets for Woody's return are selling really well in the North stand and are already up to Row M.

Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis with no reservations made for season ticket holders in their regular seats.

    The prices are listed below:

    All Stands

    Pre-Match

    Matchday

    Adult

    £12.00

    £14.00

    Concessions

    £8.00

    £10.00

    Juvenile (14-17)

    £8.00

    £10.00

    Junior (8-13)

    £5.00

    £7.00

    Under 8

    £1.00

    £2.00

Concession prices are for over 60s, young adults (18-21), active HM Forces and those on higher rate DLA or equivalent. Proof will be required for all concessions.

This fixture requires the purchase of a match ticket for all supporters. 2024/25 season tickets will not allow entry at the turnstiles.

Tickets will initially go on sale in the KCM Recycling North Stand and the North section of the Eric Twigg Pukka Pies West stand. Other areas of the stadium will be opened in line with level of ticket sales. The remaining sections of the Eric Twigg Pukka Pies Stand will go on sale first, followed by the Ben Bennett Family East Stand, should it be required.

All supporters will be allocated 10 loyalty points when purchasing their ticket under their account.

Mingers aren't treating this as a friendly. McCann has geed them up to give us a pasting, according to DFP...
Dunno about anyone else but whilst I don't mind Blades and Barnsley, Donny are top of my puke list along with the massives of S6.

Steve don’t mind them myself they’ve generally been below us over the years and by and large we’ve beaten them don’t give a monkeys about the result tomorrow just going to have a nosey at the new players and honour one of the greatest players in recent times but totally agree about the piggies!

I'm going tomorrow like I always do to the home friendly's to see how our side are shaping up. Hope Donny are here to give us a game not an easy ride to prepare us for at Exeter a week later.

Donny fan here, potentially could be a decent affair as far as friendlies go, its our last one so I imagine it will be taken reasonably serious, great occasion for Wood who is obviously well thought of at yours, he had a cracking 2nd half to the season but a shocking 1st half, thought you had sent us another wage thief like Taylor, nice to see some of you don't like us, I do enjoy watching you struggle but have a lot of respect for your fanbase, following your home town when bigger clubs are on the doorstep. Whilst I celebrated your relegation wildly you usually follow it up with a promotion & I expect you will be there or there abouts again but League 1 will be some league this season, some big old clubs knocking about.
