Rather have notts county own it, otherwise it adds no value to the club.

But as long as money from the club wasn't used in purchasing and refurbishing it then no problem.

I would like to understand how the revenue streams of these companies all effect notts county

Nesdtz ltd is a property leasing company. Basically the building is owned by Nesdtz Ltd and then probably leased to Notts County Football Club Ltd. Notts gets the profits but Nesdtz get to put the assets on its balance sheet. No idea why this would be tax efficient unless it's for staffing purposes? Staff are employed by Nesdtz Ltd which means we can maintain being a small company and therefore save a bunch on administrative fees as Notts County Football Club Ltd doesn't then have to release a full annual statement

As I understand the complex way the EFL have written the financial rules the owners can put as much money as they want (not including loans) into the club which can count as revenue hence increase the permitted playing budget.

Having Notts County Ltd own the facility means that it becomes an asset that can be taken away if the club runs into difficulty, or conversely, if the Nest starts to lose money NCFC has to fund it, reducing the permitted playing budget.

I think the owners know what they are doing!!

I can’t wait to see The Nest for myself. It looks fantastic and a big upgrade on what we had before.

I am loving these substantial investments in the club. After all when the owners eventually leave the club they can’t take the underdogs heated pitch and drainage system with them.

I don’t know the opening hours of The Nest but when it isn’t open the operating costs are minimal. Big advantage of event space like this.

I didn't say I wanted it any other way. I'm just trying to understand how the ownership structure works and whether revenue from The Nest is also considered revenue for the football club.

As in, will profit/loss from The Nest be reflected in the club's financial statements? If not, can we really consider this club infrastructure and "off the field investment"?

I've not actually been to The Nest. Is there anything other than the name and location to suggest it has anything to do with NCFC? People talk about it on social media like "Wow, Notts County have this amazing new fan zone, that's pretty impressive for a L2 club," but do we?

And what about the padel courts? Same deal?

Nice to see the Bournemouth fans taking it over yesterday. We can get more in than the MLSB and away fans can't all want to go to Hooters.

Looked full, if they filled it then it’s very good sign for all Forests other games.
