Ok, i’ve read the reactions. What do people expect? We knew what we were getting. A big ego, spin, bragging, pseudo humility (that’s being generous)
But all will be put aside by TS and most fans if we are “challenging”. It all makes not a jot of difference what we think.
The success we have had in ten years never came completely by accident, we scraped by in some respects at times. Were dire when it went wrong.
Planning? Method? Like it or not, that only came with warne. We haven’t actually had many managers! So Evans is second behind. As Evans’ seasons needed numerous player adjustments midseasons to rescue them.
Lets hope there is sufficient nous planning behind this campaign.
We will soon find out. Lets not kid ourselves, with what he has signed it has too much ‘journeyman’ about it.
