I am sure BT like many of us here will not be shedding a tear about the departure of Garth Crooks column from the BBC. Garth made a number of imo unwarranted and rather disparaging comments about Burnley and other “small” clubs. I hope Troy Deeney proves a better replacement but we will have time to assess that before we hopefully reappear in the EPL.

Garth is by some distance the worst pundit I've ever come across, worse even than Lawrenson, he's been stealing a wage for over 20 years, although I have no doubt, out of a TV studio, he's a perfectly pleasant chap.
