A big derby match this weekend against the Galabankies at Palmerston.
Reece Lyon to again miss out but Dickinson is training with the physio again and McIntosh back in with the full squad.
This will not be an easy fixture for us but one I’m looking forward to.
Clash of the titans, well for now anyway, which should be a cracker with a fantastic atmosphere.
A brilliant derby with ex managers and ex players on both sides adding to the spice.
Dickinson & McIntosh both back for this weekend buy Brydon struggling with a heel injury. Just as well we signed the lad from Middlesbrough on loan.
Annan captain Tam Muir out with a suspected fractured cheek bone.
Brydon was immense for us last Saturday.
Its a petty that Jack Hannah wasn't given more game time last week.
Brydon is fit for today.
Well I thoroughly enjoyed the game and the fighting spirit shown through the side exemplified by Harry Cochrane who ran himself into the ground before being subbed to rapturous applause. There were no failures on that pitch and Murphy has the team well coordinated with everyone knowing their roles coupled with astute substitution made at the right time. Onwards and upwards.
Totally agree Spike. The substitutions changed the game for Queens today against a well drilled Annan team who were well on top in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
Dickenson is some player!
Great win in a very competitive give. Annan are a decent side but I think we won the midfield battle. Harry had a strong game and Walker ran himself into the ground with a tenacious performance.
So pleasing to win in front of a good crowd
Annan are a decent side but maybe over reliant on set pieces. Our bench was certainly stronger. Could mention about every player but Hewitt tremendous again.
