Don’t look at it in blame terms but Brighton is a well run club and many worse places to live if he goes good luck to the lad as he always tried for us even when it wasn’t working for him.

All the flair is pretty much gone if he goes though so surely the club has to bring in someone.

Didn’t watch the game or see the lowlights but sounds like we were fairly poor as did little with the possession we had. That sounds like an echo of the last 6 weeks of last season.

I think the squad is still decent just not convinced it is good enough to cover up that DF appears to be mediocre.

Reported Phillips on his way to Ipswich - Loan.

Rutter goes and what a depressing start to our season. Seriously, we must bring players in. I knew changes had to be made following our implosion last season but this is dreadful. Hard to be Leeds at the mo.

Always been hard but I guess that is the Yorkshire way 😎 - I suspect a lot of us knew the consequences of not going up might be harsh.

Need the characters in the squad to step up.

However, frustrating Rutter can be at times he is one of those players that can make your heart beat faster and get you off your seat. Far more gutting to lose him if he goes that Summerville for me as Jimmy wasn’t that endearing.

Hey ho - ups and downs - we must be due an up or two soon

Made my feelings known the other day on priorities, so if this Rutter exit is true...and the amount he is going for is correct....then there are NO acceptable excuses now for not bringing in a proper natural striker. Then it will be a matter on whether they get it right! 🙄

Really hope so Hopey. Even I am getting on the depressed side of Leeds at the moment. As you say, Rutter was frustrating at times but he is exciting and makes things happen. A player that always wants to go forward and create.

Too many players playing keep safe footy and passing square or backwards at present ( and much of last season) How you do this when you’re 3-0 down is beyond me. Possession football is at times very boring. Give me a fast pressing style any day. Seemed half asleep last night. But last night seemed to resonate with our end of season performances to me and that is worrying.

    Currently, why would Rutter stay.
And who would sign for Farke at the minute.
He has all the charisma of a brick.
