Thread: Twine & Obafemi.

    Twine & Obafemi.

Surely we can sell these two off and keep Berge & O'Shea.

I would definitely prefer it went that way!

We are going to be very busy for the remainder of the window...

Does Berge want to stay? The Bob Lord days of selling Martin Dobson without telling him are long gone. Players have far more say in their own careers.

If Man Ure is offering him £100k per week, playing in the PL, he may want to go. Would the club stop him - having a player who doesn’t want to be at the club? That would not make sense to me - especially if the club could make a profit on the sale.

Our financial position as surely changed and we will have to raise some revenue. I would be surprised if we turned down anything over 29 million for Sander or O'Shea. One if not both are going.

Twine and Obafema. We would only raise 6 million tops for the pair of them

I will be disappointed if Amdouni leaves, I don't think we have seen the best of him by a long way. No point in keeping players who don't want to play for BFC. Can't blame players for moving for a much better salary, it's a short term job after all an injury can finish you at any time.

From what I'm reading both parties want a divorce but we need the thick end of £20 million just to stay in front of our original deal.

It doesn't make sense to sell a good player to your rivals, it will come back and bite you on the bum, it always does.
