When you go shopping late at night.....before the supermarket doors "slam shut", if you know what I mean, all the good stuff is gone. The rubbish is still there, and some of it is at a reduced price for clearance, before being tossed out. We're not going up this season. Wouldn't be surprised if we make a surprise bid for Tyler Roberts on deadline day.
A comment was made about a more "rounded" team now Summerville has gone, regarding signing Brolin. Maybe?

Even if we get a couple of players in before the deadline, realistically, I don't see us being able to overcome both the Fair Play setback and the release clause debacles this season. Not being negative, as we can still have a "reasonable season" with the squad we have ... but just think it may be a mountain too high this year. Already tending to focus ahead to next year when hopefully we start with something closer to a clean slate and a leveller playing field.
As long as we don't get relegated! 🙄

West Brom are one of the favourites for top 6 and they weren’t great either with a much more settled side. The XG for both teams was dire and Corboran came out and said he wanted to neutralise Leeds.

We surely have to bring in about 3 players. If we sign Clarke or Rowe suddenly things looks. Bit better. Hamer would be good too.

Need a Pablo type figure to be able to knit the team together.

We certainly need a couple signed on the dotted line...minus the release clauses! 😉

I think part of the reason for people feeling as they do is the lack of anything coming out of the board.

I don’t like Radz commenting constantly on anything and everything but this is the other extreme.

Marathe come out and was clear post play offs what would happen and what wouldn’t so should really explain what is going on and to use an Americanism ‘we got this’.

Would be good to get a player in like Pablo or Georginio who excite the crowd and provide those spontaneous moments fans love.

49ers will be judged by how they overcome these contract clauses and ensuing exits. I’ll wait a couple of weeks before judging too harshly. I accept they do have work to do to get the fans back on board and fan unrest is only really just beginning. Some quality signings are crucial now.

Just can’t see it happening, players the media scum say we’re “looking at” or “interested in” suddenly sign somewhere else, the Jonathan rowe saga is almost as mind numbing as Ryan Kent, we have the money (over100 million in sales) just pay what’s asked for these players and get our season started, we are desperately running out of time, farke has stated he wants signings not loan players as signings want to play and work for the team, they put in a bit more, fair comment, I feel loan signings never feel part of it. Last season’s start was bad enough for farke, he had to deal with a lot and done well to get us so close, this seasons worse for him, he’s been dealt a bad hand….twice, with no back up.
