Hugely underwhelmed, guven were supposed to believe this bloke who has hardly played any foitball for the last two seasons is apparently a replacement for the EFL Player of the year, aka Summerville.

Would like to see incomings but not just for the sake of it.

He has strong attributes. Potentially a very good signing and a shrewd one. It's often difficult adapting to English football so I'll wait to see over a few games.
    I'm quite optimistic.

    "Strong attributes"????????

He runs about a lot (where have we experienced that in a player before), and appears incapable (more or less) of generating any end product (ditto in the "haven't we seen that before").

FFS they have over £100m swilling about in their (apparently) deep pockets and we get some guy who even you acknowledge is going to find Championship football a "challenge" after the soft sands of Almeria.

And we have "a few games" spare to see if he can cut it?

It’s a good start, assuming he’s not injury prone

Highly rated and played well in a lower tier Spanish side. Supposed to have a similar play style to Summerville and the best player in that side.

This is the sort of signing the likes of Brentford and Brighton often make so might be the result of the new scouting teams efforts.

Let’s see how he gets on before we condemn him.

At least we have an attacking player coming in.

    3 more to go

He runs about a lot....do you want someone who doesn't run about a lot !? Well I don't think he's been bought for his defending and back tracking. The running will be when we have heavy possession and when we counter attack.
    He's very quick and skillful.
His stats aren't too bad for a struggling la liga team. Championship is much lower quality so that's where his ability will hopefully come through.
It's not particularly him that could find championship football a challenge it's potentially an issue for any foreign player. That's a problem he has the ability to overcome and is used to playing at a higher level.
We will see but I will be backing him. It's your choice to be negative but maybe you know more than I do.
