    Grealish and McGregor were a lot of fun when playing together during that Derry season. Two ridiculous talents that complemented each other nicely.

    I know it's pointing out the obvious, but Xavi and Iniesta is surely one of the greatest midfield duos of all time, although for perfect balance you should probably create a trio with Busquets in there as well. I doubt that will ever be topped, at least not for that style of play. They completely dominated domestic, European, and international football for a good few years, redefining the game in the process.

    Love those examples...yes, you've definitely got to consider Xavi and Inesta a duo, and it takes some beating

    France of Platini, Giresse, Tigana are around that level, but that's a trio or a superstar +2, whereas you can separate the likes of Busquets and Silva and you're left with the unbelievable Xavi and Glow-worm!

    From earlier, why the hell didn't I think of Johnson and Draper? I think I know, but it's difficult to think of a more-loved pair of players than those two.
