What your analysis means though is that we have a Chairman who presently has no incentive to develop the club in case it increases the value of Lee's shares.

Lee has wealth behind him of his own, not his family's or her husbands. ( Before the JAQ Defence League pile in it was her husband's Hedge Fund that invested) A few million at a Third tier club in England can just sit there with no pressure from anyone until he gets a reasonable offer--at least his money back and a little bit of lost money interest. Parekh has maxed out the Share Rights Card and there is little value left in the club to back up getting income from offering shares.

As a final note. I do not blame solely Parekh for the present situation. I think if you go back to the takeover time when most were lauding Lee I said he was a wrong 'un.

That's right SB. Put yourself in Parekh's position. If I were him, my priority would be to remove Lee and Conway asap. Then I think we might see a different Parekh; I certainly hope so. But as you say, and Ethel, in a later post, it will also require some honest communication with the fan base

Lee and Conway will only go if they are "bought out" and walk away with at least the money they have put in, particularly money put in in recent Share Rights Issues.
That will be a cost to the other Directors and/or the Club budget, money they are unwilling to pay or don't have.

Lee and Conway could end up in effect having their EFL Fines paid for by the money they receive in their walk away settlement, the ultimate irony
