    2) I hope I am proved wrong but as we havent been able to do anything in the last 3 weeks, not sure we can in 3 days and if we do they wont be even 3 rd choice.
We had the exact / worse depth last season with Macca, an ‘ageing’ Didzy, and a season long injured Scott, so realistically having all 3 available is better depth than last season. (personally think we will add a loan ST)

Short on the ride side? We’ve signed Gordon who hasn’t played yet and Jodi’s looked a threat on the right, Tsaroulla was also signed to play both sides and with the amount of CB we have Macari could easily slot in at RWB, not to mention Austin a steady option at RWB as a sub if needed. Hardly short.

We signed a player last week (and paid a fee) so you’ve already made yourself look silly once, im betting you do it again when we sign others this week.

Austin is in the same bracket as Chicksen should be nowhere a league 2 team looking to get promoted (as those at the club continue to tell the fans)
Neither are good enough simple as sorry if that hurts anyone’s feelings.

Both are good pro’s that take a place (and cover multiple spots) in the squad that would otherwise be taken by ‘filler loanees’ that everyone wets themselves about.

If its a choice between those two, or untested flimsy kids like Tipton, i know what the smart pick is.

Sorry but it's absolute fantasy that a league two side can fund a 25 man squad of top end players while keeping them all motivated and ready to step in. You're always going to have fringe players and we could do a lot worse than Chicksen and Austin who are great pros and fill a number of roles. We haven't seen the best of Chicksen lately because of his injury and that we rarely play a back 4 but he's done a decent job filling in as a wingback or one of the central 3. Similar with Austin, rarely had a run of 90 minute games in a fixed position but has always stepped up as required. Sorry if that's shattered your delusions.

Have to agree on chicks and austin, they’re obviously more squad players but when they come in they rarely let us down.
We need 2 more players to fill up the squad allocation, have to say I’m surprised we’re cutting it this close but I can only assume there’s a handful we really want and hoping we can get a couple of them over the line.

Why has he made himself look silly? He's literally just voicing his opinion and making a fair valid point as are you - Isn't that this message boards intended use?

For what it's worth - I wouldn't say we have better depth up front then we did last season, we've basically lost Langstaff/Morias and gained Jatta/Scott back from injury - However none of our forwards have the pace/ability to run in behind or press the opposition defence like Macca did so I'd argue we could really do with replacing that even if it's in the form of a younger loan signing.

As for the wings I'm looking forward to Gordon being integrated into the starting 11 and Tsaroulla looks quality. I do however think our side does lack pace having lost Nemane and Langstaff so even just signing a winger who can play either side and come off the bench when the game is stretched would be a welcome addition - Just another option/dimension we don't currently possess.

A couple of signings to strengthen/add quality to our starting 11 is obviously the ultimate aim however given how well we've started and several key players coming back from injury perhaps we do only need 1 or 2 loan signings through the door now.

Because his point that ‘we haven’t made any moves in the last 3 weeks wasn’t opinion it was just blatant misinformation, given we signed someone Thursday for a fee.

No issue with opinions its when people make things up to suit their own agenda when they look silly.

I hope we do , I realise we signed Ness but discounting from the current squad as he is unavailable due to still recovering from a long injury.
