Both Macedonians struggled a bit yesterday, but as has been said, it's one of the ironies that the current set up, which is getting the best results at moment, is one that least suits our two best attacking players. It will help I think when strain comes back, the Liverpool lad is tenacious, but I don't think he has natural skillset for role he is playing, tends to turn back when he has a bit of space ahead of him, but maybe learning the position still too, but perhaps him or sevelj might give be ble to come into the middle when strain comes back.

Ferry was superb again yesterday, another assist, one think I would say is he seems to pick up quite a few needless bookings. Adegboyega and Graham were good too.

Not getting carried away though, think people can get carried away with results when analysing performances, team has to develop better as an attacking force, i think there is the potential to, but also a part of me thinking just get points in the bag as early as possible

Brilliant result yesterday! got to be honest with all the talk of Hearts pressure, woes and our record there I was expecting a 2-0 or 3-0 win for them.
United starting off the season being solid and hard to beat, it's been spot on so far.
The recruitment in the main has also been very promising. We have proper technical players that should improve over the season and hopefully play better football.
Great to also go into a break on a high instead of mulling over sh1te results.

I got my comments on the game posted on the BBC sports Dundee United page but the b*stards changed the wording 🤣

Apparently you're not allowed to mention The New Rangers 🤣🤣

As a quick aside, it should be noted that we haven’t lost a league game going way back to when our erstwhile ‘rivals’ were spouting schite about Goodwin, Capuano and the entire Club being ‘rattled’ to the core. So, big hands to Andy Barrowman and Ian ‘P45’ Murray for the pep talk as they enjoy sliding all the way down the League on a Sunday. And every other phucking day of the week it would appear……..

Definitely. Seems a very long time ago since THAT night at East End Park.

Do you mean April 1974 Scottish Cup semi replay?
4-2! What a night that was!
But, yes, seems a long time ago now.

I was there Steve. The elation of reaching our first final. Unfortunately a year or two early for that McLean team in the making.

That's more than half a century ago! Jeez!!!
I was 11. And absolutely convinced we'd win the Cup.
The final was the first time I'd ever been to Hampden. I've still got the flag, though not the cane, my father bought for me outside Hampden – for 25p. It is my favourite piece of United memorabilia. If it was put up for auction now, I reckon it could fetch 30p!
Sadly, you're right about the "too early".
