Agreed but possibly one more would have been good. If Solomon stays fit then looking better.
under the FFP/PSR restrictions, i don't think we've done terrible to bring in who we've brought in, only time will tell if the new lads are good enough or not
Agreed but possibly one more would have been good. If Solomon stays fit then looking better.
I'm a bit on the fence with our incomings - we needed to replace Rutter and we haven't , should have just paid the blunts what they wanted and got Hamer in , would have made them weaker and us stronger.
Time will tell how the new signings fair , fingers crossed it all works out.
Think Gnonto slotted into Rutters role quite well last week Rev, and dont think we will miss his "Goal scoring" record TBH... a bit like Bamford spurned ten chances to score one.
If this seasons new recruits are as successful as last years - and there's not reason to doubt it yet - then we will be fine IMO
Worth a punt, on a free?

He has had his fitness issues for sure, but so has Solomon and it hasn't stopped us signing him (and albeit one match but he looked good against Dull)
He's a year older than Solomon, but with huge amounts of experience in the English leagues. If he could stay fit, why not (wages?)?
Cant argue he’d be a great addition but this seems more click bait. Players don’t seem to have the long term vision to realize being part of a promotion drive and promotion is so special. However they only have so many years to make money
Squad we have now is what is available so no point chasing media pipe dreams.
The emergence of Jospeh and the strengthening in certain areas suggests to me we are in a pretty good place.
A few other players seem to have kicked on too - Junior Firpo must have been close to MoM v Hull but not sure many would have predicted that a year ago. We seem this season to just about meet the Mourinho principles - 2 decent players (certainly for this level) in each position.
Having Struijk back and fit has shown how much we missed him and how much more Ampadu can influence a game from midfield.
The wide players look at least as strong and Aaronson definitely can add something at this level.
Barring major injuries this squad is easily good enough to make the top 2 irrespective of who has left and a lack of more ‘shiny baubles’ imho.
Amazing but not that surprising eh? the guy who has slagged off virtually every player we have signed over the last ten years is today advocating we go for an injury prone midfielder who has just been released by EVERTON FFS. Deli Alli isnt good enough for that shower of shyte but we can take a punt on him?
Wages? and a guy who has done fcuk all for five years and he's now advocating we take a punt on him?
Spent years telling us about all the no marks we have paid a Kings ransome for - and this is his latest wheeze
couldn't make it up.
😎
I didn't "advocate", I asked folks their views. FWIW Alli has missed about the same amount of game time over recent times as Solomon, who we have acquired from a source no better or worse than Everton.
As for the player that was the subject of my post, if he came to LUFC on a pay-for-play basis, it might be good for all concerned, who knows.
Oh and as for you "not caring what I post? Yeah it shows, a lot.
