    Ot government cuts

With cutting universal pension pay out and only paying pensioners on benefits, why don't they cut universal child payments and only pay parents on benefits?

Yeah, do away with any help/incentive for people, that can be arsed to go out to work. Brilliant.

They could also stop all local government spending on Taxi's. That would save a fortune.

And come the budget, people hoping to take 25% of their pension pot tax free will probably kiss that perk goodbye as well.

My mother has worked all her life and indeed at 75 she is still working for a food bank in sunnyside.

    She’s on pension credits,

She was divorced with 3 kids and wasn’t able to contribute to an additional pension!

My father and my step mother aren’t on pension credits and will lose £500 of their spending power. They may struggle paying their green fees.

They were able to contribute to an additional pension!

It’s a shame you can’t see the full picture!

They know what income your on cause I'm paying tax back they say I owe gradually off my pensions. Anyone at state pension age whose income annually is less than the national living wage should get the fuel allowance then at least people who don't need it don't get it.

It is amazing how people always make it personal or use personal anecdotes when arguing a point. The bigger question is do we think as a society we should be attacking pensioners financially, is that the sort of society we want to live in? Remember our government (this one and all previous ones) will spend £b's on their pet projects, mostly for their own personal benefit to get cushy jobs later, knighthoods, or enable family members and friends to make millions. It could be worse than that, they spend our money on fuelling death and destruction around the world, in the name of democracy (lol, start at home first). There are lines that each of us need to draw where we say "enough is enough" and when they are crossed we take non-violent action to resist our government abusing it's power and damaging our society, attacking those that are easy targets, like pensioners. Personally I don't think any of our pensioners should be the target, whether they work in a foodbank or have been lucky enough to have the time to play golf, we should respect our old and ensure they are looked after not have to worry about heating their homes or being stabbed to death whilst walking their dog.

The removal of the heating allowance is an absolute disgrace!

Starmer criticised the tories when in opposition when it was suggested that they were thinking about cancelling it!

This new labour government will take more and more and this is just the start!

The budget will show even more how callus these crooks are!

They are not there to serve the people anymore! They share no values of what we were brought up to believe the Labour Party is or was it’s there in name only!

    They are WEF puppets!
