JCH goal tally

We hired JCH to score 20 or so goals this season. Time that he got started. Having watched him in every game I'm predicting he'll get 10 maximum barring penalties.There have been a couple of occasions he should have done a lot better, although his hold up play has been reasonable. Go on Jonno prove me wrong.

An Excuse for his mediocre form or will he get better? Hopefully the latter

If we keep playing hoofball then JCH isnt the player to win many and continue the attack, it'll just keep coming back. Now it looks like SE has spoken to Hugill about being down all the time, try JH up front more from the off. If JCH isn't fully fit yet, why do we continue to play him from the start?
Was surprised that Hungbo did swap places with Nombe around the 60mins mark, maybe our goal had something to do with it. How is Nombe a different player away to him at NYS? He looked lost and deviod of any forward thinking yesterday.

The only thing I would say Avon is that this is Evans' team and so if JCH isn't the man for how we play, then why sign him?

At the minute, he definitely doesn't look fit. But as you suggest, how long can we keep saying that? I don't want to get on his back but there's no spark to his play. He looks slow and sluggish and apart from the penalty v Huddersfield, I can't remember anything he's done.

Burton on Saturday, and with respect, it's a game we ought to be winning. Hopefully he can get amongst the goals and kick start his season. We can only hope.

How long does it take to get fully fit? I've been hearing that for last 4 or 5 weeks

JCH he's lost his pace. He was surplus at Peterborough but SE for some reason thinks he isn't here. We aren't going up this season recruitment seen to that. More than him not what we needed.

JCH looks musclebound to me .looks very slow and not very flexible. I can't see training changing that

We have got JCH, Nombe & Hugill but nobody for them to play off. We need a player like Rod Fern to make things happen for them. Poor management because I think S/E thought we could bully defences in Lge 1.

A couple of weeks ago Evans stated he had spoken to JCH after training, saying xx had put much more effort into his training than he had.
JCH replied, ' Yes but he won't get you 20 goals throughout the season' and walked away.

Now Evans was quite sheepish about that statement saying he couldn't argue with JCH' statement. Well Evo, maybe you need to have that little chat again and ask JCH 'when' he's going to start adding to his tally of one goal or, will you have the balls to drop JCH for not delivering?
