JCH goal tally

We hired JCH to score 20 or so goals this season. Time that he got started. Having watched him in every game I'm predicting he'll get 10 maximum barring penalties.There have been a couple of occasions he should have done a lot better, although his hold up play has been reasonable. Go on Jonno prove me wrong.

So if he scores 10 open play goals and 10 pens your not counting that as 20 goals?

A couple of weeks ago Evans stated he had spoken to JCH after training, saying xx had put much more effort into his training than he had.
JCH replied, ' Yes but he won't get you 20 goals throughout the season' and walked away.

Now Evans was quite sheepish about that statement saying he couldn't argue with JCH' statement. Well Evo, maybe you need to have that little chat again and ask JCH 'when' he's going to start adding to his tally of one goal or, will you have the balls to drop JCH for not delivering?

I'm not a fan of forwards being captains, which may skew my view a bit... but... that makes it sound all the more like Evans has made an ego problem from himself to deal with. I'm all for getting confidence into players, especially forwards, but it feels again like JCH is untouchable and Nombe is collateral damage when required.

Got my doubts along with nearly all signings this summer. Rafferty & James apart. Home form will hold up but Saturday at Charlton if that was a benchmark against an average side then away from home won't.
