NO way these lot are as good as a modern band like PIDEGON DETECTIVES
For the oldies on here.
My second fav group "the Hollies"
For me this is one of their greatest records ever and funnily enough only peaked at 32 in the English charts but was No1 in America ..Allen Clarke is one of the best vocalists of his generation who combined brilliantly with Graham Nash (later to join Crosby and Stills ) for most of their top hits. They sold more records than the Beatles in the sixties. Three of the group lived local to me and Tony Hicks is a great guitarist along with Bobby Elliot who is a fantastic drummer. The group continued to tour until 2023,but this year are having a rest .they were inducted into the US hall of fame in 2010 or near that date .
:A pair of 45's made me open my eyes" was a famous line in the song .Anyone know what he was referring to? Chalky you may know perhaps?
Have a listen,with Lyrics

TAKE HER BACK by the Pigeon Detectives has 17 MILLION views on youtube. The link you posted has half a million. Therefore SCIENCE shows Pidgeon Detectives are 34 times better HA!
Alfie,The Hollies are a great band, one of the best and to chose a favourite song is near on impossible for me but the 60’s stuff like Bus Stop,Carrie Ann,Sorry Suzanne and the belly dancing Stop,Stop,Stop are fantastic, the big sounding songs in the 70’s like Long Legged Woman,He Ain’t Heavy and The Air That I Breathe was even more incredible and yes I know what the reference to her 45’s was, quite a woman eh?
I suspect (but don’t know) that this track was made for the American market where the The Hollies was massive and that’s why it fared better over there than over here,a great choice Alf
I’ve never really noticed before but it sounds a bit like CCR when you listen to it,what made Nash leave the band because they was doing all right at thst time, was it a change in direction music wise as Crosby and Stills are more a folky type sound?
