This time last season a remember tha wo telling us all that Mael, Lopata and Sheppard wo championship quality players.

Pines I do rate on initial viewing but he had a hard time against Omochere and Sotiriou on setdy. So much so our head coach hauled him off at aif time. Hopefully he can learn from that. His hesitancy or perhaps his lack concentration or awareness is a cause for concern. He got badly caught out twice on setdy, he got away with one fortunately but his other mistake cost us a goal.

Tha reight though, he has speed, height and strength. He's also an eye fo goal too. A decent signing imo.
To be fair Pass I agree with you that Pines gets caught with his hesitancy on a pretty regular basis but I do think our keeper put him in a mess for their goal and whilst I do not like playing the blame game I believe it was Gabby who cost us the goal, he came haring out of his goal and having done that he put Pines in a spin and he should have claimed the ball , however like Pines he lacks experience and hopefully both players will learn from the episode but on this occasion I thought Gabby was the main culprit .

Yes - and I think those players will be Championship players.

As I did with O’Keffe, Cotter, Earl and Lofthouse.
Only a few months ago people were saying that these players were garbage - basically because of the teams they had come from - comments such as what do you expect, we are fishing in a small pond and it’s all a matter of managed decline.

I don’t hear that much now.

MDdeG, Loparta, Sheppard, OKeffe, Cotter, Earl and Lofthouse would be eaten alive in the Championship. Cotter has shown improvement in a few early season games against some of the Third Division's weaker teams and suddenly is a superstar. Let's see them over a season.

    The Bible---Proverbs 1: 5

The wise will listen and hear and increase their learning and understanding. And the person of understanding will acquire wise counsel from the one known as Sormaz and gain the skill to spread that truth and wisdom to all who gather to read his words.

May the God of hope (Sormaz) fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the powers of the Holy Spirit (The spreadsheet system)

“whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life….”

“We want you to come early, drink the water (£6.50 a pint) and stay later……
