So we've never been promoted with a 4 2 0 start. Ominous. But then when did we last beat Bromley at their place? PS. Bromley don't exist on your http://carousel.royalwebhosting.net/utm/maggies16.html

Good interview from SM... could of dogged into his team for letting in 2 soft goals in 6 minutes but just praised all his players... I didn't think Cundy had a good game but listening to SM I actually saw what he saw... Cheek is a very decent forward who did score a very offside looking goal but apart from that he did nothing...if that was down to Cundy in the first half then fair play to the chap... all in all a great day at the office

Yeah I thought Maynard had his best day at Notts today. To change it up at ht like he did and send us fired up like we were deserves a lot of credit. Fair play to the bloke for coming through the difficulties from last season, cos we certainly look a very good team now.

I will readily admit to having serious doubts about Maynard, but I would love nothing more than to be proved wrong. Still early days, but it would be a real feather in the cap of the brothers if he justified their faith when most Notts fans thought they should pull the trigger.

Plus if you go onto the main page of UTM's website and click the ball in net icon, you can scroll down to the record against Bromley, they're 108 I think.

I am not a "Maynard hater." How ridiculous. I have never met the man, I'm sure he is a good guy. But, I think the jury is very much out. Let's see where we are New Year's Day. Good luck to Stu. So far so good.

Noticed both Crowley and Jones shushing their crowd after scoring. Don't think I've seen that in a while, were their fans giving aggro?

Apparently some of their younger fans were unscrewing bolts from parts of the crowd and throwing them into the Notts fans.
