So, Jed 'Sunny Jim' Stone (deceased), Vic Spanner (deceased), Marty Hopkirk (deceased) and Ray Hilton (deceased). What a loss. I still don't understand why Myrtle Plummer preferred that weaselly Lewis Boggs over Vic.

    A pity. A huge talent.

Here’s the best version of I Want You Back, though, sung by the divine Rachel.

Gary Shaw. Ex Aston Villa striker dies after a fall aged just 63.

He was tipped for the big time and won the league and proper mannies European Cup with Villa, but injuries blighted his career.

Read he also played for Killie.

    RIP

    Mind that World Cup well.

He was the star alongside Roger Milla.

Only 59 and just 8 years older than myself.

    RIP

59? Christ he looked at least 15 years older than me in 1990, if not more, and yet he was only 5 years older…
Nae age but what a story to leave. RIP Toto.

1990 first World Cup I really got caught up in. First job and Costa Rica game was on as I was on bus home, avoided score and my mum handed me the video (Betamax) when I got home. Was raging at full time that she hadn’t just told me we got beat
