"Tom fellows the architect and Maja with the finish". No mention of Furlong who's throw was the reason we scored. It was spot on and fellows had to run on to it. He saunters over to take the throw and then catches all the Pompey players out with a fast and accurate defence splitting throw. Every week Furlong gets missed. Got 8/10 today and after the match some young lad interviewed said weve got a great defence with Ajayi Bartley and Heggem. Furlong is just one of those players who doesn't get noticed even when he's Made a goal cleared loads away from the area at the back and got 8/10. These are the reasons I go on about him. He deserves a lot more praise than he gets. Great highlights by the way. ;o

He seems fit enough to do that Soulman. The time to let him go is when he can't keep up.

The football is so attractive and fast moving now.

Once Johnston is up to speed and replaced Grant we are going to be a nightmare to play against.

Palmer has got to stop playing hospital passes to defenders who have their back to the opposition, this is mindless nonsense.

Quite a few whose contracts end then including Ajayi, Swift, Molumby and Diangana as well as Furlong. Of these, I certainty agree that Darnell has to be the one to definitely keep though the others may yet prove their worth and I'm sure the club are mindful of both the costs of replacing them and the losses of letting any of them go as free agents. Obviously once we get closer to the end of the season a lot will also depend on whether we look likely to gain promotion or not as -Furlong aside-they look decent enough Championship players but not Premiership class.

I must admit despite his lack of flair like some Molumby always has a winning mindset which often makes up for it. I reckon Molumby is a nightmare to play against.

Agree about Molumby's attitude and (Furlong aside), rather weirdly -considering that I believe he has more innate talent than the others- I would rather keep Molumby, Swift and Ajayi than Grady who IMHO remains too inconsistent and lightweight. Who knows though, maybe Carlos can work his magic on him too once he is fit?

Still very early but already way ahead of points total that I had anticipated. So delighted....

Molumby had a really good game yesterday, I would certainly be offering him a new contract.

Although Yokuslu was a positionally superb player he lacked energy, that is the big difference this season, we look quick all around the pitch.
