There’s a shape, style & philosophy to our fitba now that has been sadly lacking under the 3 previous gypes - great to see.

Add to that some tremendous signings & a proper manager who knows how to get something out of players we’d all written off & things are looking good.

    A few thoughts:

After a slightly ropey start, Mitov has settled in now. Looking every bit the keeper he was at the farmers last year.

Ruby & Molloy both excellent. Ruby has really settled down & cut out the brain farts & Molloy compliments him nicely by reading the game very well. A promising combo.

Palaversa put in a good shift for his first game. A big solid unit who’s good technically - promising.

Nilssen is just an excellent footballer - I’m more impressed with him every week. Not just the leadership he shows, he’s great on the ball, really composed & intelligent & uses it so well. Best signing of the lot this lad.

Shady Mo did the biz again when he came on. Used that quick burst to get a yard on his man & then put in the perfect cross again to set up the second. Very good, keep it up min.

What can you say about big Pape though. Tremendous performance - MOTM.

Make no mistake, from start to finish that first goal was absolute class, a thing of beauty. In the right place for the second too.

He’s messy one minute, then he’s Messi the next - definition of a cult hero.

So the Jimmy T show rolls on. None of us saw this coming so let’s just enjoy having an actual proper manager again - COYR.
I’m trying to think what you are referring to with Mitov having a slightly ropey start?

I might be forgetting something in my old age but I think he’s been superb since the first game of the season.

To be fair Jayden was pretty decent going forward, he was pretty speedy too, but Shady-mo is making far better decisions and playing with the confidence that actually makes his pace a real danger.

Yep i tend to agree with themoog comments but can't think what he is referring to here. I think Mitov has settled in very well since his first game.

10 out of 10, superb stuff and as others have said what a difference to have finally found a manager that appears to know what he is doing and is certainly getting the best out of everyone, Yes even Shayden Morris FFS !!!

Bit sloppy towards the end and it was indeed squeaky bum time that really could easily have been avoided, but we got there.

Nilsen was outstanding again, wondered how he would get on without Shinnie, but yet again has was superb. And Palaversa looks the real deal as well.
What is there not to like about the dons on and off the field. In JT we trust.
    Happy days indeed.

    Been a long time coming

He was on loan from the Smoggies and signed a new contract with them whilst playing for us.

Nah, he has/had an infection in his leg. Hopefully nothing too serious and he'll be back for the weekend.
