Despite being a top of the table clash so early on it doesn't quite have the same fear factor as the pre match nerves vs a Stockport/Wrexham/Mansfield team where you were sometimes thinking "We could end up getting embarrassingly hammered today".

From what I've seen of this league 2 line up so far this season I genuinely don't think we have anyone to fear, we're certainly as good as any other team in this divison which you couldn't say last season. There certainly won't be any crazy high point totals where teams win 25-30+ games in a season, anyone can beat anyone as we've seen so far. Think we have a real chance of going up this year.

The defensive fear factor has also gone (the odd blip but playing together time will sort that).

Bang on - Weaker average divison on the whole coupled with Notts looking significantly better balanced overall, you'd like to think we'll be in the mix for top 3... early days though.

None of the teams we have played so far are currently in the top 10. Big game, hopefully another 3 pts.

    Here we go again.
Fleetwood, Tranmere and Bromley would all be on ten points (equal with Bradford City in seventh place) had they beaten us, and Swindon and Grimsby would be a point behind them had they beaten us. The reason they are all sitting in lower places at the moment is because they couldn't beat us.

The fact we’ve not let anyone take more than a point off us will have a big say in that, no?

    Honestly it’s baffling logic.

It’s like saying after the first game last season that top-of-the-table Sutton quite rightly demolished bottom club Notts County.

Not only that Tranmere were unbeaten in the league until Saturday. Fleetwood beat top of the Championship West Brom in the cup...

Apart from we are 6 games in not 1 game!!

We only took 3 points or 1 point off the other teams so they had 4/5 other games to pick up enough points to be currently in the top 10 and they haven't.

If the 6 teams we played were currently in the top 10, do you think you'd be more or less confident about the rest of the season?

At the same time, it not our fault that the teams we were scheduled to play In the first 6 games aren't currently in the top 10. But my original post is still factual.

You can only beat what's in front of you. We are doing that every week. Simple stuff.
