Fantastic! Plenty left over for the dog!😃
Live in Treeton so was only abt 5 minutes away if you’re in that area Brinny Whiston etc and can’t be arsed to cook or go out give it a try
Uttis, Alec the landlord always puts a great dinner a the Waverley. Not the most modern venue and could do with a refurb in the big function room but, the carvery is always very good for the price paid.

Didn’t know he did a delivery service.

Had a quite nice lamb shank Sunday Roast meal in the Rock at Wentworth for a similar price and didn't feel I had to build a mountain of veg on my plate to get my money's worth (it's not a carvery anyway so couldn't even if I'd wanted to).
That's a Greene King as well.

First time in years we popped into Sir Jacks and had their carvery for lunch. Head and shoulders above any carvery or similar, I've had this year.

Price is £7 or add £1 to go large. Same price 7 days a week. Meat was quality. Plenty of veg choice. Would happily have paid twice that. Drinks were reasonable as well. Bottle wine £13-£20 a bottle. Two bottles Peroni are £6.

Seating is well laid out. Couldn't believe the transformation from the last time we visited.
Last time I went there the beef was burnt & tough, so seems to have improved.

Went to the Marquis last week, pretty good but the roast potatoes were hard, Toby still does better potatoes.
I normally call in the Marquis for carvery twice a month on a Wednesday, after doing Barnsley market shopping, good food
normally, but has you say the roast potatoes were hard.

Not been for a bit in the Toby at Dodworth, but my son was in there a couple of weeks ago, he said the food was good, while
in the pub, Mark Labatt [Beast] off the TV programme the Chase, came in for a meal, he told my son he goes in regular for
    meals.
Like son said, he'd hate to be behind him at a carvery or buffet, he's a big lad.

He's been dieting. Apparently he'd lost 10 stone by August last year.

Tourism has been down this year and people saying they've priced themselves out of the market but a lot of people there are happy with fewer tourists although I don't know what else they're going to do for jobs.

Been to Sir Jacks several times when travelling up from the South Coast for a Saturday 3pm KO. Can’t fault it. No room for Dessert!
