I have absolutely no sympathy for drug dealers etc. They deserve what they get. A real scourge on society.

I was in a Chemist shop today and a young junkie was in getting his methadone. He was a tragic specimen and far too many of them.

Being brought up in Torry I know quite a few junkies and quite a few started off just smoking a bit of dope.

I know many alcoholics, and nearly all of them previously drank tea and coffee.

Harsh on Torry, there are 'junkies' everywhere. The folk in so called 'better' areas are just as bad, even if their drug of choice is seen as more socially acceptable.

One of the family members of the corporate owners of JK Finefoods in Aberdeen’s West End is seemingly partial to selling Coke and the family wonder why Soul and other venues have gone quiet! The price of their 🥩 is frankly ridiculous and must surely be influenced by the prevailing Coke market rate. I’m not talking out of turn as he was convicted of drug-dealing offences at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. Won’t go near their establishments, ever.

Fair point about a few starting off smoking a bit dope.

Who can categorically say they haven’t tried any illegal drugs? I can hold my head up high and say I never have. Not many can though.

It’s disgusting that it is tolerated throughout the country. Not enough properly done to make a good effort of trying to stop it running rife right through communities.
Too many people are affected by drugs.
The police, politicians, people in general have just given up with trying to prevent it.
Scotland is really bad with drugs at the moment.

The police are just as bad. The public has completely lost all respect for them. I had one gesticulating and being rude and aggressive to me recently whilst driving in entirely innocuous circumstances and I reported the c*** to his superiors. Arrogant and completely ignorant b****** and I returned to the scene to tell him that and that he was being reported. Silly c*** thought he was serving the public but I told him that the likes of him give the police a bad name and that he needed more training despite his seniority. W*****
