No basis for this - could be 100% wrong but it's my gut feeling.
I think the players have been on edge in this window, the uncertainty, who’s going, who’s coming in,the rumour mill going bananas, glad it’s over and now we know what we’ve got till Jan. I’m not looking forward to the season as much as I was,I think it will be worse than last season,we still will get injuries, same squad, other teams strengthening. I feel Eddie’s been let down but he will carry the can,not Eales,Mitchell,Bunche, but I hope not!

Still think he should be shipped out.

I got a bad feeling about this guy. I think hes making life hader for Eddie, wich is rubbing off on the team.

We dont need shoite stirring like this around.

    I dunno, man.

He only had a watching brief this Summer and, by any standards other than our previous Fatso ones , it was a shambles. A free defender who is definitely finding the transition hard, a ridiculously expensive 'keeper who cost so much because of our need to balance the books but who it seems we have no intention of playing and a rookie striker with potential. Factor in having to sell a popular and talented local star and the exciting prospect we'd all been looking forward to seeing and you'd be hard pressed to argue against him that our transfer policy wasn;t fit for purpose.

The media seem keen to stir up the notion of a massive rift between them but their motivation is clicks before truth.

I think he deserves some time.

Problem is he will point at the manager when things dont work out, to save his own arse.

And Eddies problem is that Mitchell dont get the signings over the line.

If there is any truth in this, he should be removed.

I think that's all speculation though Viking, mate.

We don't know he'll blame Eddie or that he can't get signings over the line. It doesn't look like that was his remit this Summer.

Whatever the truth, January should be interesting.

Thats true, it will be interesting to see.

However, I belive things like that will affect the performance on the pitch.

Something has affected our performance on the pitch, then its easy to point at Mitchell or that other dude for that matter. As they represent the only changes at the club this summer...

It needs to sorted, whatever it is.

I know im in the minority but id rather Mitchell Stayed and Eddie left for England i really feel he has took us as far as he can now and a new winner manager is the next step someone like Allegri or Tuchel would be perfect.

Well, I think in any fight between Eddie and Mitchell - it'll be Mitchell that wins at the minute.

Mitchell is Howe’s boss and Eales is Mitchell’s boss. The problem is that Howe’s influence at the club was relatively high when Mandy was there. It’s highly likely that this is why Ashworth left - he may have felt he was being undermined.
Just because Eddie’s done an amazing job with the team, it doesn’t mean that nothing should change at the club as we aim to move forwards. Mitchell’s ‘not fit for purpose’ comment was clearly aimed at the mess of losing Minteh snd Anderson - caused by the fact that we never sold anyone thus leading to a dead end with PSR. I think Eddie did an amazing job with the players signed but he failed to understand PSR enough that we should have moved some players on (the overriding loyalty to players that he has).

IMO PIF recognized this and have made adjustments - Mandy out and Mitchell in. It’s for the good of the club and everyone needs to accept and work together in the new structure.
